I opened my eyes
And looked up at the rain,
And it dripped in my head
And flowed into my brain,
And all that I hear as I lie in my bed
Is the slishity-slosh of the rain in my head.
I step very softly,
I walk very slow,
I can't do a handstand--
I might overflow,
So pardon the wild crazy thing I just said--
I'm just not the same since there's rain in my head.
Those are the words of Shel Silverstein. We're borrowing them this evening because they pretty much sum up our first week at Red Rock.
We're hoping for better weather...soon.

Awwww, Shel Silverstein....he does have a way with words now doesn't he? After teaching for 35 years I've grown to feel very close to him. LOL
Hope the rain stops very soon for you guys and you can continue to have fun!! :)

Rain Rain go away, come again another day!
After three years of drought here in the Bay area, I was glad to see a wet winter this year, but now I'm even more pleased that we won't see rain again for several months.
I would take a rain day in Yellowstone over a sunny day painting the house anytime!
