Let's just say yesterday wasn't a very good day, and leave it at that.
We're now the proud owners of a 2.7 cubic-foot refrigerator that looks like it belongs in a college dorm. We've rearranged our dining chairs to give it a temporary home until we can get the "Nocold" repaired. It's big enough to keep a few essentials chilled. Just a few!
Meanwhile, we'll enjoy the company of family who are gathering here in Monett to celebrate a really big birthday this weekend.
And, oh yeah. We'll eat out a lot.

My heart goes out to you guys! First the heat pump, now the 'NoCold'! Sending out those good vibrations and prayers your way...
Our NorCold refrigerator quit staying cool even though it was only 2 months old! In fact it made the wood around it so hot, when it was on gas, that we thought the 5th wheel would catch fire. My husband discovered that when they installed the new one they installed it incorrectly and it was not venting to the outside like it was supposed to do. We took it back it and they installed it the right way and it's been working like a charm. Something to check into anyway.

It must be the week for breakdowns. I'm sure happy I replaced my Nocold with a residential fridge.
Makes me glad we signed up for an extended warranty. We haven't had a chance to test any of this stuff yet.
don't know what i would do without our four door norcold... sigh....
Gueeezzzz.... What a bummer. I hate it when that happens. Hope you get it fixed real soon!
Have fun & Travel safe

oh my!!.thank goodness for the little dorm fridge and the party this weekend!!
Blame everything on the full moon effect. We've had a broken windshield and a blown out tire in the last week.....
When troubleshooting our NorCold, they disconnected all electronics, then hot-wired the electric heat to do nothing but heat the refrigerant overnight.
The idea was, that if the refer was cold in the morning, then the problem was electrical.
In our case, the refer was cold in the morning, the tech then used the front control buttons to run through the diagnostic tests, located a code that said the thermistor wasn't present.
Then he traced the wires to a sealed circuit board in the outside compartment, found the thermistor wire, the connection was loose, he clicked it into place, and the refer has been cold ever since.
Here's hoping your problem is as simple.
After two weeks in August juggling ice bags, we considered the small apartment refer option, but didn't really have the room. But it was tempting.
