Universally Boring Blogs

"I gotta tell ya', those doing what we're doing (living in a giant RV, going north in the summer, escaping south in the winter, staying at RV parks for long periods of time, etc) have universally boring blogs."

First things first. We didn't - I repeat, did NOT - write those words. I read them in a blog this evening. Said blog used to live on our blogroll, once upon a time. But, it doesn't anymore. Haven't met the author. Now, I'm not so sure I'd want to. And, based on that declaration, chances are he doesn't want to meet me. He's entitled to his own opinion. That's fine. We're all good. Really.

Universally boring blogs. Really?

Agree or Disagree?

a little googling goes a long way. No comments on that blog, I noticed. Can't say I am surprised

I read that one today, too . . . and was kindof shocked. Maybe it's because we're pretty new at this fulltime thing, but I love reading about the places people go, and the things they find to do . . . it helps give me ideas for future plans!

I don't mind travelling vicariously. That said, one cactus can start to look like another.

Perhaps his mother never told him, "If you can't say something nice..."

That comment doesn't make much sense to me - what makes something interesting is so subjective - does the blogger say anything else?

Never mind...I found it...but still doesn't make sense. Although part of what I enjoy about my blog and reading others is the conversational aspect...and that one seems to be a monologue. As Sue said, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. :/ But as for me, I will keep reading all those rv'ing blogs! :)

I never find any blog boring..just a matter to taste.

Rv blogs are anything but boring! Even if the writers are just following a day-by-day routine, I find tidbits of knowledge in their posts. I am very grateful that so many are willing to share their lives with others, thus becoming our virtual friends until we have the chance to meet in person.

If you find any blog boring, it's time to delete it from you list!

well, as a blogger, I will admit to seeing things from the other side. Not that I think my friends' blogs are boring, but when I am stationary for a long time, I often find it difficult to find things to write about that I think might be of interest to someone besides me, and possibly my immediate family

Sometimes I just quickly skim the posts about family or health problems, but I find most blogs very interesting. I have learned so much from other bloggers. Many of us use the posts as a record of our lives and travels. I feel privileged to be allowed to peak in.
